I know that I asked this question at one point before, but back then, these televisions were brand-new.  Has anyone tried using any "universal" active shutter 3D glasses with a Bang & Olufsen 3D capable TV? I see these glasses frequently advertised on the internet, such as the "Blick" brand universal active shutter 3D glasses.  I'm just wondering if there are any other options other than the ones offered by Bang & Olufsen.

At least my local dealer told my that they have their own protocol at BEO. From history wise I would doub that BEO would release something that "open".

I very much doubt that B&O have the R&D available to develop their own 3D standards - remember this is not a company that does software really. The issue is more related to the TV and Glasses connecting.

I'm only guessing, but on the basis they have mostly been using Samsung glass, its perhaps likely their active glasses will work. And for only £15 or so, its fairly low risk???
