Managing content on BS5/BM5 using a Mac

What is the best way to manage content on the BS5/BM5 using a mac? I can easily add content via Beoconnect, but how do I delete - directly on the mounted BM-Share$ or some other way? Want an easier way than having do any management via the BS5 itself.

I'm using Beoplayer on several Macs in the house. Works via Parallels Desktop and Win XP.

This way I'm also programming my Beo6 and my Lintronic stuff.

    Hope this helps.

The easiest thing I've found is the use the Mac OS and use the Finder function. . just delete right there on the BM Share folder

I'm ready for something new that I actually want to buy!

Is there a good way to make playlists in the Finder? I do have a BM1 and with Beoconnect it is not possible to make playlists. In PC mode it takes hours...

Does that affect the MOTS function?

I am using the Finder function also.  In addition, I rip in the FLAC high quality format on the Mac using the Phile app.

MOTS is triggered and builds an index automatically if files are added.

The question was what happens when something is deleted - I would guess/hope the algorithm is also launched when that happens.

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

No need. If a song is gone, it's gone, and can be simply skipped. That doesn't have to alter the relations of the remaining songs to each other at all.

Hi, I use Chronosync to sync my music directory on my NAS to the music directory on the BM5. Any changes I make within iTunes, I.D tags, artwork or when I add, delete or move tunes to a different folder etc are copied across when I run Chronosync. Works flawlessly.
