    MX8000.. got the 5 digit manufacturer code, what now?

    Hello out there

     

    Bought a second hand MX8000 and had it stored for a while. i forgot the code and contacted b&o, they gave me a five digit code, and told me to follow the user guide. The user guide says that i have to look at the CD ROM, which i dont have.

    Do any of you know what i should do with the 5 digit code, when the tv only asks for 4 ?

    Switch the MX 8000 on and Press << on your Beo4 untill the 5th digit shows on your screen. After that enter the mastercode you received.

    Can you tell me how i activate a new four digit pincode now i have entered the master code?
