Is there a 120V light dimmer that can be operated with the Beo4 ?

    Good evening,

I am searching for a 120V light dimmer that can be operated with the Beo4 remote, something simple like the B&O LC2 (never available on the North American market). Several European vendors such as Lintronics offer exactly what I need (such as the Aludim ), but their dimmers work only on 230 V.

The Lutron offerings are overkill just for controlling a few lamps.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jean

I have B&O here in Switzerland, in a California property, and in a property in Brasil.

220v, 110v, and 230v. Most of my equipment originated in Europe.

Why not just utilze an inexpensive ( $ 40 USD ) voltage up/down convertor ?

Not sure if you can still find them, but I've got a 120v Dinalight being used in the US that I bought through Lintronic. They were available through a few different manufacturers (at least in Denmark), but I don't have the names on me.

I contacted Bosscom of Denmark and they can supply me with an autoswitching version of their "Bossdim" dimmer that can work on 120 volts.

The only drawback is that unit costs 349 euros(!!!) (including shipping of course).

I am now searching for a less costly alternative before settling for that one.

    Best regards,

    Jean

I have a US version of the B&O light switch. Any one know the value. I don't use it as x-10 with Lintronic is what I use.
