repairing a pair of Beovox C75 loudspeakers

hi - i am repairing a pair of these fine speakers. i have inherited the repair job from someone else who just gave me a box of bits! i replaced the foam surrounds with new ones. the problem is, i dont know which drivers are meant to go in the bottom, and which in the top! 2 of the driver have the code 8480143, and 2 have the code 8480141. perhaps there is no difference, but im sure they would have used identical drivers if that was the case! any help would be appreciated. thanks tim.

Why don't you upgrade to Gold membership? You can then download the Service Manual. Just checked and it is on the site. Plus as a Gold member you also get entered into the prize draw every month.

Never worked out the difference myself, but they are labelled differently and I seem to remember that one has a hole in the magnet!!

The 141 goes at the top and has an extra coil in the circuit so I suppose is the woofer, and the 143 is at the bottom in direct connection with the tweeter! Seems to be practically a full range driver! Laughing

Isn't one of the cones ribbed, and with a smaller dust cap? If so, this is the one with the broader frequency range.
