    Beosound 1 grille question

Hi I have three grilles for the beosound 1. Can these be sent to B&O AND BE REPAINTED OR REFURBISHED AT A PRICE???

If there is someone who knows let me know please. I had a brand new dark green cover and before i got a chance to even take it home i made a small mark on the surface (i was swinging it around ) and that really makes me mad. Also the white one I had has been scratched by the people at the B&O SERVICE CENTER when I took my Beosound 1 and had the whole cd mechanism replaced...I think I can retouch the white grille by myself because it's painted but the other covers are anodised.

Not to my knowledge by B&O!

I have taken one to a car spray shop and had it re-sprayed. They need to be very good as the holes are very easily filled in by the paint. It needs to be put on super thin and a few coats to get a good finish. Nice though to have a different colour.

I have also had one re-covered in black speaker cloth, looks great but dulls the red display slightly.

but seriously i have a brand new dark green cover that looks great except for the small scratch that shows!!! i guess my only option is to have it repainted but it's anodised....

I have no idea of costs but it is possable to have it re-anodised.There are always places that do that kind of work just a question of locating one

I used a black sharpie (permanent felt tipped marker) to touch up a scratch on my black BS1.  You can still see it if you know where to look because the colors do not match exactly, but 99% of the time I don't notice it.
