    Beovision Avant 28 No VCR Picture or sound

    Hi

     My Beovision Avant 28's built in VCR recorder will not display any picture or sound when selected although the tape transport features (play, FF,Rew,Cue etc) all seem to be functioning correctly. All i have is a dark screen when play is selected.It is the same with all tapes. Is it a menu setting I have wrong or something else. 

    Any suggestions on what may be the problem will be very helpfull

    Hi Mike,

    Did this ever work or is the Avant new to you?

    Either way make sure the scart lead from the VCR to the correct scart socket higher up the back of the Avant is pushed in securely.
