    (Solved) Cover Beogram 5500 CD

    Hi all,

I have a complete Beosystem 5500 and the cover on my Beogram 5500 CD has a deep scratch on the front. I am looking for a cover that looks fairly new. Does anyone have one for a good price? I live in Sweden.

    Regards

    Krona

I thought I had one undamaged but one side (rear/right) has some scratches on the plastic cover.

The top however is near mint! Let me know if you're still interested.

    Leslie,

You found one? Is it deep scratches and how many? Would you please send me a photo?

The top cover is the same as used in all the other stacking components. You can virtually fit any top cover from any Beogram CD, Beocord or Beomaster 5000, 5500, 6500 or 7000 Smile

I guess that the Beocords are the cheapest to get hold on in good cosmetic condition Wink

    Hi Soren,

Yes I know that all fit. I have a contact with a service guy at a B & O service center. Maybe he has some top cover housing from scrapped ones. He promised me to look. I know on Friday.

Re: Protective Cap Beogram 5500 CD

I have searched for a cover for a long time now. Next week, I know if I've managed to find a cover. A workshop think they have covers lying in a corner somewhere. On Monday I'll know if luck is with me. Keep your fingers crossed.

Forgotten you totally, sorry. But I had a quick look at the cover now and the top is okay with a tiny dent. At the rear side it has scratches on the plastic. Will cross my fingers for you....

Re: Protective Cap Beogram 5500 CD

I've got a used cover from a Beocord 5500. I had to modify the cover to fit the Beogram 5500 CD. Now I'm waiting for the CD-tray from Leslie.
