Children of Men. Makes you scared, makes you cry, makes you think. Very well done, IMO, though the book is better, of course!
...my two cents

Dead Man's Shoes - Directed by Shane Meadows and starring Paddy Considine
It has a great soundtrack IMO too such artists as Calexico, Laurent Garnier and Aphex Twin
Shane Meadows new film "This is England" looks good too but I haven't got around to it yet.

pixar's RATATOUILLE david
I have seen an ad of Ratatouille here in luxembourg, as it will be in theaters in 3-4 weeks only. Looks really funny. Do you think it can compete with Ice Age or Monster INC?

Hi Archie, how are you doing that ? Maybe, you are using Emu## or BitTorr##... BTW, I heard about the movie Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. They suggested me to watch it as it was kind of scary (serial killer). Seeya,

Hi Archie, Good news. You made a wise decision. BS2 and A8 will compliment your ears . I have the A8's, I just love them . BTW, I was able with the C.E. (comité d'entreprise) of my former client, to rent a DVD for one week at 1.5 euros. Seeya, Guy

Re: The last film you watched and said "I really enjoyed that"
I agree on the last king of scottland. Also. Blood Diamond. Lastly, slightly edgy and i thought I wouldn't enjoy it but in the end foound it hilarious: transamerica. And then there was little children, which left a very strong impression cause it handled a topic I wasn't expecting based on description of it - even though it sit s in the title. That movie made me think a lot.

Being a figure skating fan, I saw "Blades of Glory" with Will Ferrell and Jon Heder a couple of days ago. Very amusing indeed...

I watched The Pursuit of Happyness on Blueray this weekend. Such a moving and all round brilliant movie. Prep yourself to get a little sad though. Will Smith stars along side his real life son and the bond is just fantastic, I truly recommend seeing this one!

Re: The last film you watched and said "I really enjoyed that"
Hi everybody, Tonight I rented again Crash. Paul Haggis (...) delivers an image of America post-September 11, racist, violent and sectarian. He also shows the small
internal wars between ethnic communities. Strong, brutal, without
concession. Impassioning! The film depicts several characters living in Los Angeles during a 36-hour period and brings them together through car accidents, shootings, and carjackings. Most of the characters depicted in the film are racially prejudiced in some way and become involved in conflicts which force them to examine their own prejudices. Through these characters' interactions, the film attempts to depict and examine not only racial tension but the distance between strangers in America.

I did watch this few weeks ago broadcasted in HD - 1080i. Very powerfull, and so real. I often think about prejudices we unwillingly develop in ourselves...
