No way, to expensive. The original one is just a simple bended metal plate (quite heavy) with nothing special on it. STB's has, as far as I can see, rubber spacers mounted. Maybe that could help.

oh no ....
Leslie's gone over to following Eugene's use of avatars ...
BTW as an (ex?)-hippy/flower-power-teenager I approve of the sentiment
Now I shall have to find a picture of a beautiful frmale elephant or settle for the moment on Laura ...
First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

Can't wait. Flower power has been a little bit before my teenage youth has started. But did not missed the mini skirts, Pink Floyd, CSNY period etc. Boy, do I miss that! Regarding Makepeace, I was totally in love with this women.....Wonder how she looks now

Almost all Beograms made after the Berogram 4000 are equipped with three-point suspension, in my opinion a vibration insulator is not needed

I have an original shelf for a Beogram 3300. Unused in original packing with screws etc.. Not sure of the postage to Canada, though. It's quite heavy.

Hi Martin, pure interest, does this shelf fits a Beogram 3500/4500 as well?

It's the same shape but the color is different. At least I remember the 3500/4500 as being black where the 3300 is metal grey-ish.
Martin
EDIT: I just checked and it seems the original shelf could be ordered in metallic grey, also for the 4500, that would be part no.8920127 and is in fact the one, I have.

The type that doesn't protrude from the wall as much as the other is for the CD players.

elephant: What's your passion with elephants?
1/ My name begins with an "e" :-)
2/ I was born in Africa :-)
3/ elephants are lovely gentle animals unless aroused :-)

I have never got a tattoo, because I know that about a week later I would wake up and say "want that one" ... and where would it end ? I would become the Illustrated Man ?
Mind you I never thought of a "B&O" one
