I can remember one (whom I met in Newcastle) whose avatar was a chopper because his job was servicing the North Sea rigs

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

That was Toby - 'Heliflyer', whom i had the pleasure of meeting at the BeoWorld Christmas Party in 2009. Not heard from him for a long time!

I did 16 hours of my Private Pilots Licence in 2003 if that help? Laughing

Last I heard is he (Toby) moved down to Hertfordshire to take up a job as a police helicopter pilot. He's probably got a camera crew with him for our entertainment in the show Sky Cops.

Oh and I had to talk a pilot down after he freaked out whilst I was the passenger - even though I can't fly. Huh? Doesn't really count but I verbally flew the thing Laughing

If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.

I fly 737-300's for Jet2 at Newcastle in the UK. Spent years teaching light aircraft instruction around the UK.

Have just 2 weeks now until my final commanders simulator check, so sat here listening to music through my Beovision 7 studying(a lot)

Ps and if your the other chris who I think you are, you better get studying too. Just had a beating on the sim at Woodford.

A Beovision 10-40 in black and red fret on order, Beo4, Beo6, many A8's, a pair of white and yellow Form 2's, Beocom 4, 28 inch Avant RF DVD, Apple TV and a wife that loves this stuff as much as i do!
