Beoworld.org article in Wikipedia Free Encyclopedia

    hi,

I’m using all the time Wikipedia.org Free Encyclopedia to find all kind of information that I need and I wonder why there is no article about Beoworld.

Instead of using Encyclopedia Britannica people are more likely to find the info online at Wikipedia.org  which by the way is very accurate…

    regards,

    constantine

I did a whole section on BeoWorld in Wikipedia actually!...

It took me a whole evening - then they deleted it 2 days later because it was promoting a website..

I once added a short paragraph about beoworld to the german article about B&O on the german wikipedia, but it was deleted too.

BeoWorld is on Wikipedia, at the bottom of the official Bang & Olufsen page as a link to an unofficial web site devoted to B&O

I heard yesterday on the radio of a study about Wikipedia: there are many mistakes on this encyclopaedia. Everyone can modify the articles so it is very easy to change history/scientific/etc facts.

According to this study Wikipedia must not be a reference... I have not checked this myself but I believe it !

    Emmanuel,

In fact, according to Noam Chomsky, there is no absolute truth. So, don’t base your view on only one source of information. It depends of whom is writing the article.

But, you can do a triangulation of the sources of info and, after that, there will be a strong possibility you may have the truth!!!

    kind regards,
