Please accept my apologies, simply tongue-in-cheek - sharing pictures of the end-product I can understand, stopping to photograph the product being unwrapped is what I don't understand and which must surely detract from the thrill of actually opening the thing!
Anyway I am not lucky enough to know anyone who has a new boat.

dmacri: @kingofsnake - I think the tone of asking if it's a "new fetish" or if "anyone gets off on this" was deemed negative. It's all about sharing something of pride with folks that share your passion. I know people that share pictures of their new car, new boat, or whatever the same way.
True, but they don't show every stage from buying the car and then picking it up from their dealer :)
I'm all for showing new product in situ. In fact, I'd like to see more photos of new B&O equipment in real-life scenarios. Such as how the black BV10 looks in someone's home. That's something I'm keen to see.
I don't care about seeing BL9s in various stages coming out of a brown box, but then that's just my personal preference.
So...anyone care to show us more photos of finished product in their home?

I meant brand new modern kit. ie. stuff you've just bought, in your home. That thread is full of vintage kit!

mr_anders_son:
Absolutely !
They have done a good job
Well done B&O
First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

Great photos mr_anders_son, Sometimes I think unboxing is half the fun. Love the red box.
I was thinking about placing it in the bathroom but I was worried about moisture. However after a closed instpection of Beolit 12 which is almost sealed in the way it is put together, moisture should probably not be a problem.
Thanks again.

Yep! We're allowed to take a cooler bag onboard with our crew bag, this will fit inside perfectly
Will the the older iphone (3GS) work with this though? Does anybody know? :\
