    B&O App has AirPlay

There is an updated BeoPlayet App in the App Store and it had AirPlay which picked up my ATV, was it there in previous version?

Airplay works with any internet radio app, because Airplay is a feature of apple's IOS!

Funny there's a thread about BeoPlayer ... I was setting up a new iPad in the store today and I noticed it has picked up and vanished from the US App Store.  Anyone else seeing the same issue around the world?

It's not on the aussie store.  Perhaps it will be replaced by something with the Play brand?

    Hi,

I suppose the app has been removed by Apple, because the new version does not work properly: it crashes whenever you activate the "clock" tab. Let's wait for an update of the update...

    Best regards,

Yes I downloaded an update to it last night and it worked for a while but a day later only the clock works, if a press anything else it crashes. It has now been removed from the Aussie iTunes store where it was last might. It also has a slightly different icon

I also noticed it was gone and was going to post about it and then saw this thread. Clicking on the link for it on the B and O web page opens iTunes and then a message appears saying that it is not available in the US iTunes store.

You are right.  I did a search for Beoplayer and was not in the app store.  However Apple has not removed it from my iPhone when I did an update.  The Beoplayer icon is different but Beoplayer is still there.  Maybe it was because of Halloween.

Whats weird is that even when something is removed from the App Store (ie. VLC, the original light saber app, the original tetris app, etc.) you can still download it from the "Cloud" but BeoPlayer has just completely vanished even from there!

For some reason, the app has not been removed from my system.  I have done several updates to my apps but Beoplayer is still there and works.  The version is 1.2.2.

Apps aren't removed from your system, even if they are removed from the App Store. Two examples - VLC Media Player which was available for a while and, more recently, Google's Gmail app which was pulled within hours. Any user who managed to get the app in this period, can still use it on their iPhone.
