    Hi Kay,

Whilst im not sure the name and the designer, ive seen this light.

When I worked at a radio station in Liverpool, UK, I was friends with some guys who owned a chain of designer interior shops called UTILITY.

Im convinced they will be able to help you.  One of the Directors is called Paul.

    Hope that helps you

    Their website is utilitydesign.co.uk

    Their email...   info@utilitydesign.co.uk

The manufacturer is Moooi and it is called Random Light (White). There is also a black version.

I see similar pendant lights in every store nowadays starting from 49€ - so if you'd rather spend the difference on an MX8000 and a pair of BL8000s... Stick out tongue

It is actually a very neat light when seen in person - the picture does not do it justice. And it does come in several diameters, and there is now a LED option.

An even more imressive light is the Raimond light - http://www.moooi.com/producten/196-raimond.html

it goes very well with all that B&O aluminium.
