    Smiley Suggestions?

Well - i've trawled and trawled the net for weeks now - and here are some of the best smileys i've found. Do we like any of them?

I do think they brighten up a forum if used properly - which we seem to do.

Obviously not all are really fitting for us, but some are excellent!

What do you think of these?

These ones look great! To be honest, the ones we currently have are a bit ugly .... ok, not only a bit ;-)

    Re: Smiley Suggestions?

I much prefer these to the current ones (the smilies on the old forum would appear to have been a subset of these).

    Bless ya Van!

I'll drop you an email with the ones that i don't think will get used or are not really suitable for us, otherwise they will take an eternity to load up!

Are there any that everyone really, really likes (so i don't miss it/them) ??

I like 'em - much better than the present ones. The expressions are far more representative.

"I'm not worthy" is my favourite.

    Re: Smiley Suggestions?

I think they're brilliant Lee, quite a few of them are recognisable from the old forum.
I take it that they cost money so obviously all of them would not be needed,63 smilies is too many
Problem is, can't find ones I don't like!
Think some duplicate each other's sentiments. eg don't need original smile and a grin. Don't need Devil and evil. Don't need Happy and Laughing. Don't need errm and unsure. Don't need wub and blush. Smile and original are indistinguishable.
Get lost, *** and barf aren't suitable for gentlemen like us. Teehee (upside-down head)is pointless.Badbad is only good for Puncher.Number one is only good for meWink
    Spam will be hardly used.

On the other hand, must keep welcome,Dance,Rtfm, confused, bash wall, hug, not worthy,Wow,
    Just my opinion.

I notice there isn't a "winner" smilie - shame that!

all I can say is: Yes

they are somehow more basic, like the ones that we had on the old site. Go on, Lee and Van

Any more of these we/you really think are essential, or are you happy for me to choose? (no moaning afterwards if we don't add the one you liked but never said!)

For some reason the forum blocked out the title of the smiley! Funnily enough, its title is like a jumbled up swear word. Anyway, it's the one continually reeling off expletives with a red face.

    Re: Smiley Suggestions?

Does anyone know how to make new ones??

I think moderator only smilies would be cool for the prize draw (obviously I've been drinking) but I'm sure jandyt would have been more thrilled with a "First Prize" smilie than his actual prize!
