Looks like an early example, of the first Beolit portable. This would be really rare IMO

    It's a Beolit 607AM (1961).
Very nice piece and the price is also nice.

Re: THIS must be rare (or not)?

125 euros is a fair price, but not an extreme bargain.
For a collector, it's a go and get, you won't find another one like it tomorrow.

    And the knobs are correct.
I remembered wrong so I had to edit my post. We can't give out wrong info here, you know.  Laughing
The early Beolit models are not very common and it has been a long time since I last had
one in my hands so I initially mistook it for being a Beolit 606 (year 1960).
However, the dial and the Beolit script on the front gives it away and, as you
can see, the knobs are larger.
    - On the radio, Leslie.
    A beautiful model none-the-less.

Re: THIS must be rare (or not)?

These lovely radios tend to be more and more rare on the auctions sites. This one seems to be in quite good condition and the price is more than correct. (I saw one of this with its cabinet resprayed in red sold more than €400!)

Now I've got another offer for a mint Beolit 41. What would be a reasonable price for that?

    Hi Leslie (Hamster),

Didn't your other half told you to clear out some B&O stuff? Big Smile

Good catch with the Beolit ... and at least is not that big so you can hide it .. in your closet!

    Nice buy !

Beolit 41; Hard to value but probably 3-400 euros for a mint one.
Let's see a photo of the dial, if possible.
