    BeoPort when PC is off?

Can a BeoPort access a MasterLink Source, be controlled by IR and play on the PowerLink Speakers when the PC it is connected to is off?

To connect an IR receiver "eye" optionally - being able to control the sources
via a remote while not sitting directly in front of the idling computer ...

And yes, the computer, regardless of "flavour", must be on ...

    1)  Get a BeoLink Active w/IR eye

    2)  Get the appropriate cable from SoundsHeavenly to connect the audio output of your PC to the "PC" input of the Active.  Now, select "PC" on your remote to listen to your PC, or N.Music/N.Radio to listen to BS5

    3)  Wait for B&O to support remote BS5 music selection on the Beo6

    OR

    1)  Connect BL4000s to your computer

    2)  Install BeoPlayer on your computer and connect to your BM5 (assuming you have one) and select music on your BS5 to play via your computer.
