    Beovox RL Passive Loudspeakers

    Hello Beoworld! I am new to B & O speakers and such and i recently recived eather a Beovox RL 60 Passive loudspeaker or a Beovox RL 60.2 Passive loudspeaker, but im haveing trouble telling the 2 appart, i was wondering if someone could help me!

    Aren't there type stickers at the rear? I seem to recall they told this in clear words, if not, there should be at least the four digit type number, which is 6503 for RL60 and 6513 for RL60.2.

    If the sticker is missing completely, take a flashlight and try to peek through the fabric. At one end, the RL60 will have a large, rectangular metal plate (a passive bass radiator) suspended in foam surrondings similar to a speaker cone... the RL60.2 will have two separate normal bass drivers.

    (If you're in the UK, you may use a torch as well. Just don't burn your speakers Wink )

    and if you know, what is the 2 pin plug in on the side of the speaker used for? i have searched everywhere on the internet and cant find out what it is.

    That is an alternate connection for the speaker input. It is a DIN style connection that is run in parallel with the rear plugs, so you can use either connection point based on your preference. The connectors are available on eBay.

    ah! Thank you! Do you know what would the DIN cord plug into? maby a AV receiver?

    Yes, the other end would go to your speaker output of your stereo. You would use either the DIN connector or the push connector, but not both at the same time.
