    Lucky seller

What a lucky person.  I purchased these items on E-bay last December for Hubby's Christmas.  $1280  Low and behold they were stolen from his garage.  Guess what they most have been found.  Lets hope the do not get stolen again if price is not right.

I hate that! They tried to sell them at $2000 and got no bites either! Now $1500 and no bids.. $1280 next??

Maybe someone should ask the seller whether any damage was sustained during the theft and recovery... Angry

    Hi,

How can you be sure these are the same items that you had stolen from you?

Perhaps it's a very small community...?

    Re: Lucky seller

The items weren't stolen, the seller didn't like the price they initially sold for. The seller told the buyer they were stolen before he could ship them to the buyer, and cancelled the sale. Now the same seller is selling the same items, the ones that were allegedly stolen from him!!

This happened to me recently with a pair of Beolab 6000s. I won the auction, paid and waited for them to be sent. 3 weeks later the seller contacted me and said he was robbed the previous week, and that my speakers were damaged during the burglary. They're now for sale again, at a higher price than what I won them for!!!

The silly thing is if he hadn't lied to me I would have been fine with it, instead he held on to my money until I complained!
