Beoport wake Mac from sleep problem

    Hi,

I have a problem with waking my Mac from sleep when I use N.Music or N.Radio.

I have the Beoport connected to my mac. The Mac is running Mac OS X Lion and BMLink. Everything is updated and latest version. When I press N.Music in a link room (Not where hte Mac is). The Mac actually wake from sleep but after a few seconds it goes to sleep again and no music in playing in the link room. But if I then afterwards wake the mac again directly on the Mac the music starts to play directly. (linked room has not been set on standby).

So it seems like that the Beoport can wake the computer but will not keep the Mac awake. Why? Had anyone had the same problem.

If the Mac is not sleeping everything also plays as it should.

And yes I have tried to connect the beoport directly to the Mac and not via a USB hub.

Please see the log file attached where you see that the Mac wakes up.

I face the same problem. Same setup. Additional to this the BM-Link system software closes automatically every view days..

With Linkplayer 2 I still do not manage to make the iMac play internet radio.

Did anyone find out where the problem is? For me it seems Lion is closing the BM- link service if it is not used or if it looses connection for longer time. Is there any limitation or time out setting for services in Lion?

Hi, I had the same issue, for me the problem came from BM Link, not Mac (I use Snow Leopard and not Lion) or B&O (it works normally with Linkplayer but not BMLink), I shifted to Linkplayer 1 (LP2 is still work in progress), and it works like a charm.

I used to use LP but have a Problem with volume control. Thus I deutsches back to Bm link. It worked well before LION.

    Hi,

I had exactly the same time out and sleep problems with BMLink. I too have converted over the LinkPlayer 1 and now LinkPlayer 2, Philippe is doing a fantastic job with this new software and it means I can run Lion OSX and still have great sounds from my B&O system!
