    Wanted S60s/M70s on trumpet stands

    As above - If anyone knows of a nice set please let me know.

    Will pay good money or swap/PX for a very well sorted pair of M150.2 complete with original stands.

    Based in the UK but wouldn't rule out importing a pair!

    Thanks,

    Llewelyn

    Embarrassed

    I was one of the viewers.  I was going to write, "Hey, get in line for those trumpet stands behind me," but then thought the attempt at humor would be missed/lost.

    I have two pairs of M70s and have been keeping an eye out for trumpet stands for about a year.  Nothing so far in the USA.

    Current primary listening:  SMMC20EN -> BG4002 -> BM4000 -> Beovox M70

    They seem to be extremely rare here in the UK too!

    I did know of one pair which never sold on ebay but this was ages ago and the auction is long gone, sadly I missed the bid at the time.

    I find it surprising they the stands were not more popular at the time!

    Re: Wanted S60s/M70s on trumpet stands

    A few months back a gentleman from the midwest USA popped onto the forum to ask about the value of his M70s.  He claimed to have been the original owner of the speakers, had bought them with stands, but had sold the stands years before.

    Why anyone would sell the stands without the speakers is beyond me.  Anyway, those are the only stands I've heard of here in the States.  And these would only qualify as "mythical" at best!  Stick out tongue

    Current primary listening:  SMMC20EN -> BG4002 -> BM4000 -> Beovox M70

    When I go shopping for furniture I'm allways looking for stand lamps, one day I will find one with a foot like the trumpet, cut away the lamp and make a trumpet standWhistle

    Re: Wanted S60s/M70s on trumpet stands

    So sorry about hijacking this thread but I saw these on ebay (au) and thought they looked great.  But I assumed they weren't original B&O stands (NB unfortunately description states the stands are not for sale - just speakers).  Couldn't find info on Beoword but is this the 'trumpet stand' that is being discussed?  Would they be original for a S30?  I have a couple of pairs of  S30's I'd love to mount on this sort of stand.  Might have to whip up a BOSE or Ikea version...?

    They are not -they are in fact the BOSE stands from my previous link.

    Very nice but the P30 speakers won't give much sound like that.
    They should ideally be wall mounted. But the height is good.

    Hmm -You should have thought about that earlier Wink
    I've sold a pair of fully functional M70's with original trumpet stands 3 months ago. They were not very easy to sell here in Denmark.
    After 2 months they went for 400 DKKr (approx. 40£) I don't know how much you are willing to pay -but I guess the shipping costs would have been huge Hmm

    I just didn't have the space for them anymore (or use for them) -as my home is filled with:
    Sets of: Beovox Pentas, Beovox P 30's, Beovox MC 120.2's, Beovox S45's (old model), Beovox 3000's, Beovox CX 50/100's, Beolab 5000's.
    But - It's always hard to sell some B&O stuff...[:'(]

    I hope You find a nice set.

    I can buy this set for 60 euro's. Seller says that the speakers has been painted by a pro. Not sure about the stands if they have the original grey color.

    Those stands are definitely painted grey.
