Hi Robert, not sure of the costs in Switzerland! Uk prices average at £450 for the fitted kit with flash update. not something you can do yourself I am sorry to say.

  If you were in the UK I would say look for a second life MK3 screen at a good price and sell your MK1. might come out the same cost but you will be getting an updated contrast ratio screen on the MK3 and hopefully less running time.

  This is only my opinion of course.

thanks, I found a new kit for far less but if it cannot be installed myself it does not make sense to buy it, MKI is not great but will do for now and its purpose..

If you are pretty technical you may well be OK fitting the kit. I am pretty sure though you would need it flashing by B&O afterwards! I may be wrong, if so I am sure someone else on the forum will point this out.

You are right, the guy selling it also told me it needs flashing...

BTW I am urgently looking for a beolab 7-1 bracket to mount it on my 7-32 motorised stand, do you know anyone selling one?

Lifestyle have a table mount for sale. pretty sure it is the same bracket, just needs removing from the stand

have been negotiating a price with them today, shipping to Switzerland was found outrageaous though, but your idea is a smart one I had not thought of..just taking it off...

How much is a bracket from a dealer??

they do not sell the bracket as such, the wall mount is 200 CHF and a table stand requires me to pull 400CHF from my wallet!

that's why tax rates are favorable in Switzerland...only work for the very rich though...
