hey everyone,

i just recently bought a beogram 8002 and i love it! this ques has probably been answered already-sorry if it has... but the one issue im having with the TT is the tonearm wont move when i push the < << and >> > buttons...any insight on what the problem could be? and what i can do to solve? any help/advice would be MUCH appreciated.

Will the platter start rotating when you press < (PLAY) ?

Yes the platter does rotate when i press play and the tonearm does automatically cue the stylus tip in the first groove of the record as it should. I am getting sound, however, if i then want to choose a specific selection on my record, the TT doesnt respond to me pressing the << < and > >> buttons...

Check the lamp inside the black plastic casing at the backside of the front panel.
I can supply a correct lamp if needed.

Presing < while playing activates the repeat function (indicated by the LED on the sensor arm flashing).
