    Beogram 4000 Service & Operator's Manuals

Does anyone have a Beogram 4000 Service Manual & Operator's Guide? It would really help with the repair of my Beogram 4000. Thank you.

The service manual, and it is a good one, is on site here! We don't have the user manual.

    Peter,

Thank you so very much. I looked carefully on-site but didn't see the 4000 service manual. I downloaded it, and it is indeed very, very good.

I am a hopeless fan of the products of Peter and Svend owning a Beomaster 2400, S-45 speakers, Beogram 4000, 4002, and 4004, and a Beocord 8004 cassette recorder.

Joining BeoWorld has been a great experience fore me. Thank you for all your help!

    Jeff

Very nice collection! I take it you mean the 70s S45s? If so, not a duff model there! You clearly need the Beolab and Beomaster 5000 to go with the Beogram 4000 though! Equally well made and engineered. Look at the superb www.Beolab.dk site for more information.

Best of luck with the 4000.

    Re: Beogram 4000 Service & Operator's Manuals

    Hi Peter,

Yes, the S-45's are seventies vintage and were a gift from another B&O fanatic who didn’t like that my Beomaster was powering Linn Isobarik speakers… and doing a superb job I might add. Still at 30 watts, the inefficient Linns were a bit much to ask of the Beomaster.

A slight oversight in my laundry list, I neglected to mention my Beogram 8000.

As you can see I have the “bug,” so I wonder if you should really be encouraging me to ADD to this obsession…. I mean collection.

    Thanks for everything.

    Jeff

I am afraid it is the typical reaction of another junkie! Laughing

I think it is probably time to have another 'What every true B&O collector should have in his collection thread' !! You seem very well on the way.

    Peter,

I am not well on my way, I am afraid I have truly arrived! I won’t even admit to what I just spent on eBay for an owner’s manual and schematics for my truly flawless Beogram 4002. Insanity when my favorite turntable is the 4004…. this with the 4000 down and out and my 8000 in the shop as yet repaired.

Surely there must be less expensive addictions.

    Jeff
