Hi all, just got my second pair of penta 2`s but cant get them to work i have a BS2500 so i have connected one pair to one powerlink socket (in series) and the other pair to the other powerlink socket, all cables are ok and all displays come on but no sound from one pair (display shows two dashes where the volume is).

Anyone have any ideas please let me know?

Ok, I've been thinking about this one for about an hour or so and all I can come up with is that it could be a MUTE issue. That's the best answer I can come up with, but it doesn't really make sense as all Powerlink sockets are muted together, or so I think.

I don't own the Pentas, just an idea: To which position is the mode switch set on the non working pair of Pentas? (Page 11 of the user guide)

thanks, tried the mute button but no luck just cuts out the working pair, both pairs are set to audio on the switch?

Do all Pentas power up when you press CD, RADIO...?

Did you try to change PL sockets? What happens when the second Penta pair is connected to PL socket 1?

Did you try to daisy chain all four Pentas?

Did you change Powerlink cables?

Right, tried swapping the plugs over on the 2500 but still the same, the pair at rear work but front one dont?

i cant daisy chain them as the cables wont reach.

all penta displays light but only two amps switch on (the one that the sound comes from) the one that dont have two dashes where the volume is?

now i do have a powerlink to speakerlink converters so tried these on the non working ones and i get faint sound, and get the volume number displayed, but when i press mute the sound is still on?

this is now starting to annoy me

Right i moved them around and daisy chained them and they work but when using both powerlink socket on the 2500 they dont?

but still both sockets on the 2500 only switch one pair on

Please i need help urgently!
