Hi, yes, you can use BeoPort / BeoLink PC2 as an audio master (set it up to option 2), as long as you don't have any BeoSound or BeoVision in your setup.

You'll press CD to access the PC CD, NMUSIC for audio files & NRADIO for internet radio.

Sure you can, in that case, BS3000 will be the audio master (A.OPTION 2) and BeoPort will be in option 6, if they are in 2 different rooms. If in the same room, BeoPort connected to BS3000 via Masterlink will be in option 0 and you can get rid of the extra IR eye.Smile

Do you advise me to add a beomedia 1 even if I do not have a B & O TV?

    - Can I use the Beolink PC2 / Beoport as a standalone unit without Masterlink?
    - How does it behave in a Masterlinksetup with a Beosound 5 and Beosound 3000: When I want to listen to N.Music on a PC/Mac, too; will it work?
