    Turntable clocks

I have seen a few B&O turntable clocks for sale on Ebay and just wondered if anyone has got one, and if so what do you think? Only £30 so not the biggest investment in the world but anyway.

I also saw this whilst trawling around for something cool and want one now.(the pong clock!)

    Re: Turntable clocks

I don't own one, but prefer the 'originals' over the home-made ones such as shown in the auction.

    Re: Turntable clocks

Beotime wallclocks do come up for sale from time to time but there's not a
lot around and owners tend to hold on to them.
The one in the auction seems to be a fairly quick homemade piece as are
the others from this seller, quite far from looking original, even if they
    did come in different versions:

    http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/33340.aspx

As with most other B&O, it goes that condition is everything.
Expect to pay apprx GBP 120-180 for a nice original.

The older versions (with the raised ribs of Beogram 4004) tick quite loudly, the
newer (of Beogram 8002) slightly less so.

    Re: Turntable clocks

Ironically i did see the Beotime clock that went for sale, but only at the last minute. I just couldn't bring myself to spend £250 on it.

I ordered one of those turntable clocks anyway for £30 so i'll let you know. I feel so cheap and dirty[:'(]
