My Beogram 1800 needs to be adjusted, specifically where the needle sets down on the record. Has anyone done this job before?

Hi, which model of BG1800 do you own? Is it the lightweight aluminium/smoked plastic one from the 1980's or the earlier heavyweight one with wooden trim from the late 1960's/early 1970's?

Looks like late 70's/early 80's, luckily I found a service manual and made the appropriate adjustments. Thanks!
