so yes Evan show me a real Ohio summer pic, and let me get a little sentimental Laughing

I didn't forget about you Søren!

I spent my early afternoon out scouting my local areas. I started my mission here, a road I have never explored before - which is crazy because it is only about 10 min from my house. For driving, it was an absolute blast (ask Todd! Laughing) and had a few decent views. Do you like beans? Laughing

The weather couldn't have been better!

This is Leatherlips Park and outdoor theater on the Scioto river.

    DSCN2392.jpg

The park is downstream from this dam which is about a minute down the road from home.

Just down stream from the dam, you get this wonderful shot.

Great pictures - especially the river scene

Thanks for sharing your world with us !

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

I would use my Ohio pics if they were big enough, they can't fill up this giant new screen! I don't like the black bars running down the sides.

My father has an original print of "Blown Away" hanging in his office (thanks to me!! Laughing) and I've always adored it myself. Plus I'm a JBL fan and owner too!!! Yes - thumbs up

Well you said it, in the eye of the beholder, its like this, the farther and the longer I'm away from Denmark, the more beautiful it becomes, I'm "more" Danish than the Danes living in Denmark, I've been living away from Denmark for 40 years, when I die and they open me up to use my organs, they will find my heart red and white just like he Danish flag.Whistle

I'm born Danish, educated in DENMARK, but my viking infected blood (similar to BeoVirus), and high taxesSad, forced me to leave one of the oldest kingdoms in the world (only Thailand is older), to make my now 40 years long journey, wherever I hung my hat (nowadays a B&O cap), Denmark was and is always home, but with 20 years in Mexico city I think I found my RIP place, the travelling times are gone and I can stay at home listening to my vintage B&O every day.

I took this picture earlier this week. This is Mirror Lake on campus. Seeing this you won't believe it when I tell you that today it is 47deg F, raining and windy outside as I type this. Already missing the good weather!

Well I must admit Ohio is beautiful, and be happy that you can see and feel the change of stations, here in Mexico city there is nearly no difference, and sometimes I mis it, today mid 70s

I feel like I am the only one in Ohio that enjoys the variety, the changing of the seasons. Everyone here has aspirations to move south or to California.

To a degree, I am excited for the colder weather, I do enjoy it - just not quite ready for it yet!

Move to Ohio Søren, it sounds like just the place for you Yes - thumbs up

That pic was made with a cell phone Embarrassed That camera is pretty picky about the enviornment and such.

The picture of the lake is also from my cell phone and having sunlight, no rain, and no wind makes for a very very good picture!

My original Ohio pictorial was done by my Nikon Coolpix L5 7.2MP. Great machine as well. I should break out the D60 sometime Smile
