    BeoPassion vs BeoObsession

    Sometimes I wonder where is the limit between  BeoPassion and  BeoObsession. Difficult, isn't it?

    When you go & visit each B&O shop after landing in a new city, does that make you obsessed?Hmm

    Guilty as charged !

    But is a passion ... not an obsession ... I hope Laughing

    First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

    I do the same, and it's a bit of a compulsory thing, as there won't be any new stuff to see, I know about the available "inventory", and almost all shops looks the same, still knowing and being aware of this I have to go in to have a look!

    BeoPassion is visiting every shop, BeoObsession is buying something in every shop, visiting shops is a normal grade of BeoVirus, buying in every shop is the ultimate grade of BeoVirus, and may be dangerous if you dont have a very strong economy.Laughing

    Owning anything pre-1980's = obsessed.  So I'm merely Beopassionate.  So far  Smile

    That can't be right.  I own 5 cartridges, 4 working record decks, a BG4002 in the shop, 3 beomasters, 4 pairs of Beovox, 2 cassette decks, and one CD player.  Except for the Soundsmith cartridge - which doesn't even count - all were built in the 1970s or 1980s save the BC4500.

    And I've never set foot in a Bang and Olufsen shop.

    When I go to a new town, I look for the used record store, not the B&O shop.

    I guess I'm neither passionate or obsessed!

    Current primary listening:  SMMC20EN -> BG4002 -> BM4000 -> Beovox M70

    Come up to Columbus. We have no B&O shop, but we do have a bunch of record shops. Not that I've been in any of them!

    On the original topic, I am certainly obsessed. Both past and present items in my collection.

    BeoPassion, you only have B&O audio and video (or at least try to)

    BeoObsession, yoy must collect EVERYTHING labeled B&O, (including posters, toy cars, marketing gifts etc)
