    Anti Reflection screen

    Hi,

I'm planning to buy a BeoVision 10-46 in a few months time, but I'm not quite sure whether to get the Anti Reflective screen with it or not. Does anyone of you have any experience with it, and do you think it's worth the money?

Get the ar, and be sure to buy/learn its proper care and care products.

    Re: Anti Reflection screen

My dealer replaced my Beovision 10-46 for the AR version.

It was far to bright in my livingroom. (see: Flash your B&O for pics, thats the new AR)

I think the AR version is simular to my old Beovision 7-32 screen.

Beware: the screen when it is off it has a slightly blue / purple haze (Is that the correct word?)

The normal screen is completely black.

Unless you have a very dark room it's a must have.

Thanks for the replys. You seem to think that the AR option is worth the extra money. I was thinking that most of my TV viewing takes place at night when it's getting dark outside, but I may have to reconsider.

Jasper, is that the AR version pictured in the "Flash your B&O"-thread?

I do not have the AR screen, and I regret I did not purchase it but I did not have the budget at the time.

Have got a price for doing a retrofit and considering a change of the glass screen.

It´s a quite straight forward process mechanically, but the picture needs some adjustments afterwards.

Could you perhaps compare the AR/non-AR version to the matte/glossy screen on a MacBook Pro?

    Not really.....

Screen is still glossy but reflexions are less obvious.

Suggest you visit a dealer to see for your selves.
