Probably a long shot, but does anyone know of someone in the U.S. who could re-cover my black Beolab 6000 grilles with white fabric?  'Seems this would be more economical than purchasing new white grilles.

a try. They also ship cloth samples. I´ve recovered my BL4000 frets this weekend. Your BL6000 should be no problem, if you do not have 2 left hands. Maybe you do not need to glue the cloth. With the fixing tabe (check the homepage above) it could also work.

Plus the new cloth is of much better quality than the original cloth. Why put away the metal frame and buy a new pair, if someone can refurbish them?

the fabric from akustikstoff.com has an excellent quality, but it's too thick, tried it on some beolab 6000 speakers but it looks strange on the corners. but that fabric is excellent for speakers of the C / CX range, it's almost the same as B&O used, but better.

the other supplier mentioned by soren supplies a much thinner fabric, much closer to the fabric used on the beolab range. it's almost identical to the genuine fabric but not 100% as it's missing the "shine" that the finely woven fabric gives that B&O uses. I would recommend to use it anyway, as it's pretty much impossible to notice the difference.

Yes, the fabric from Akustikstoff is fine for BL4000 where the corners are hidden (did that myself, looks nice), but not for BL6000 where the cover sits in front of the speaker.
