    Beoplayer doubles Music files?

    Hi,

I just installed newest Beoplayer on my Dell WinXP Notebook and die a SCAn in the n.music source. Runs quickly through my C-drive and finishes without any problem.

But when I looked into the Album list I saw some Albums doubled and ALL songs within the Albums doubled. Prior to the SCAN I did delete all double files in iTunes and also the files starting with "._" that were in many folders...

What did I do wrong that the songs are doubled??

    Thanks

    Heribert

    Re: Beoplayer doubles Music files?

Maybe takes .mp3 files and .m3u (playlist files) so every track is there twice?

    Just a guess...

Play a title of an album that has been "doubled",
select "info" the last line "location" tells the path of this file,
repeat procedure on the 2nd album to see if the the path is identical or different.

    Re: Beoplayer doubles Music files?

    Good Morning,

With your help I found the mistake. In the Folder iTunes (already containing all the music files) there was a second folder "iTunes Music" with the doubled music files.

Strange that iTunes created at any stage doubled directories...

    Thanks again.

There is an iTunes import option where you can chose to have the music copied into iTunes' library space, or just use iTunes to manage the meta-data about the music.  Go to preferences and then look in this tab:

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*
