I just bought a century (the last generation).

The cd lens seems to be very sensible to scratches on CD.

Is it a default or a sign of health ?

The playback of cd without scratches is perfect.

Personnaly, I think it is a good sign but I am not a specialist.

Might be worth cleaning the lens? Maybe there is a slight build up of dirt on there which when combined with the scratching is making the Century struggle to read the Cd's.
