Hi guys,

Here's my problem...I have found in a second hand shop a brand new beosound 2 for a small price.

But...

Is it possible that's a fake one? On the powersupply I saw "Bang & Olufsen Japan"...

They sell a brown box, with the beosound2 + Usb + power supply + earset + cover...

Did you have some pics of other info that I can check ???

To my knowledge there were no fake BS2s. You would see them en mass on ebay.

The A8 earset was faked in different varitations and you can still find them for cheap on ebay.

I too got the email - that is for the BeoSound 2 MP3 player ... and this is what the text of the letter said as an explanation (with my emphasis):

Dear Edward,

With the new financial year upon us and an exciting range of new Bang & Olufsen products set to be released in the coming months, it is time to clear some space in our showroom! This means that Bang & Olufsen is now offering select ex-demonstration products across our range of televisions, audio systems, loudspeakers, telephones and accessories at very special prices.
