I have an LC1, the first gen light controller, USA model. I bought it back in 1990, and it's never failed me.

I unplugged it before a storm the other day and when I plugged it back in it stopped working. One time the lights blinked on for a brief second but now it doesn't respond at all.

Has anyone here had this happen to them? How would I start "diagnosing" what's wrong? I see on other posts that the fuse can go out...

    Re: LC1

Hi. I think if it doesn't respond to being touched on top, I would suspect the fuse inside.
It's awkward to get at behind the input and output wires, and is under a soft, clear cover.  I have had them blow a couple of times since I bought my two in 1993. Usually when I put too much demand on them.
