Lakeland(high st shop) do an lcd screen cleaning pack, small aerosol can and a cloth, I use it successfully on the screen etc when it is cold ie before use, doesn't leave marks after the initial clean ie first time after thatworkds brilliantly!

Bang & Olufsen recommend clening with a soft cloth and hot breath. (which I find works great)

You have to be very careful with cleaning products because the chemicals in the can break down the anti-reflex coating on the screen.

I followed some advice from Lee that works perfectly.

Buy two good quality microfibre cloths and mark one as dry. Wet the other with warm water and wring out as much water as possible. Wipe the cold screen and imediately dry off with the dry cloth, perfect result and no detergents to damege the reflex coating!

Use nothing more than a good quality chamois, slightly moist. Use this to first remove all the smears, then polish with a good quality, soft cloth.

    Don't use chemicals.

Re: Cleaning a Beovision 7-40 screen

Ok thanks for all the advice.

The Mother in Law has an Avant which i bought her. She also owns a small Poodle that jumps and licks the screen to get attention(doesn't do it when i'm there i can tell you), so i put a Bitrex solution on the screen and waited for the little f**ker to get licking. Hasn't even bothered going near our screen sinceBig Smile
