chartz:
Are you sure your house is not built on an old Indian cemetery?
A Seminole curse? Interesting theory. Will have to look into it.

Ugh...
But when she works, she's wonderful! And the BM4000 and CDX are amazing pieces. No buyer's remorse at all for anything.

Re: BG4002 Down! (Back up already)
I think it may have to do with use, if I dont play my BG 2404 at least 2 times a week, the control buttons kind of stop working and I have to press them varius times to get them working again. And no, my house is not build on sacret ground. BTW my BM 2400 is down again, same failure as last time. On this forum "you never walk alone".
Beosound 3000, BL 4000, BL 8000, BG 2404,BG 5000, BG CD50, Beocord 5000, BM 901, BM 2400, BM 4000, BV S45, BV 3702. There is nothing we cannot do, but a lot of things we don't want to do!!

Re: BG4002 Down! (Back up already)
Still more flawless play Saturday and Sunday.
One of Murphy's Laws was: "Problems that go away by themselves tend to come back by themselves." (I just knocked on wood.)
PS Been listening to prerecorded cassettes on my BC2400 and BC4500 this morning as is my weekly "exercise everything except spare cartridges" routine. Cassettes sound wonderful through the BM4000 -> BV 70s. Maybe I'll pick up a few more of them dirt-cheap at the used record store the next time I'm there.
Back in the day, I NEVER bought a prerecorded cassette. Cassette decks were for recording LPs!
