    Hello,

Just to clear out the most obvious fault, have you taken out the transportplugs on the bottom of the beogram? It is two plastic buffers that you unhook. Sounds like its not that but just to check.

    Cheers

You don`t need to open the Beogram to check the transport screws. Just turn it round. The screws are at the bottom.

Or maybe you are missing a CD? Sounds like an inserted CD, that moved out of place, caused by the transport....(?)

Take the top of the cd7000.

There is a switch in the middle that controls the opening of the lid.

You might have to bent it a little to make it work.

You will need to unscrew the 2 screws or so in the back which will make you able to slide the top of the cd7000 of.

Now locate the middle section and you will see a switch which activates the lid. Push open a few times and you will see how it moves.

You will most likely need to bend it just a bit to get it right.

After that put the top on and tighten the 2 or so screws in the back.

I can't provide a picture but its a simple procedure to do.

    hello,

i think i found the swith. when i push the open  ,  the switch have to move from a side to the other side ?

Mine leave the "back " side and stop in the middle of the  2 side , it dont reach the "front " one , then it goes back to the "back " one.

it seems something is blocking but dont know what.

So far you got it right.

It should touch the front as I recall. You will have to figure out which position works and bent it carefully if you have to. What happens moving it to so it touches the front?

My CD6500 had a 3-5 second opening time which also came from a move.
