    Help to dismantle Beocom 2

I have a Beocom 2 which my wife dropped and broke the top plastic top. I have bought a faulty Beocom 2 on ebay and would like to make one out of the 2 but how do I disassemble the case

Unfortunately the simple answer is you can't.  The BeoCom 2 was never designed for front line service (other than a battery change), B&O instead offer service swap handsets, basically there is an offset of the cost of a new handest when you return a faulty one.  It must be a straight swap (you can't choose a new colour) and the aluminium case should show no sign of damage, from memory it should be around £135-£150.

You remove 2 screws from the base, remove the bottom plate, disconnect the charging connector, carefully remove the plastic retainer and then slide out the battery.  Be very carefull when removing the retainer, the charging cables are very delicate and can be damaged easily.
