    Beosound 1 Stand

    Dear all

Is there a way to use a longer pole for the BS1 Stand. The original pole is just around 60cm long and I would need around 1m.

    Any ideas welcome.

The stand use same base (same spare parts number) of floor stand of Beolab 4000 stand.

You can use the tube of beolab 4000 Pole stand whitout any problem.

The tube of floor stand for Beolab 4000 have ref. number 2950216

The original 60 cm pole is in balace with the diameter and weight of the base.

Using the same base and a 100 cm pole
would make the whole assembly quite
    "top-heavy" and not very stable.

For a 100 cm pole a base of lager diameter / more weight will be necessary (eg BV1/BC1)

    Re: Beosound 1 Stand

I am sure you know about the wall mounting plate, which does look good if it is not too high and the mains/power cord can be hidden.

There have been some aftermarket stand products for the Beosound 1 in Germany over the years. Fabricated in glass and stainless steel, they might be found today on EBAY now and then.

The comments about the height of a stand pole and an increase of the OD and ID of the pole are well founded. The corresponding base of such a product would also need to be wider and heavier.

My experience is that mounting the BS 1 too high, and it only sounds good if one is standing.
