BV 4-42 and BV 4-50 and motorized stand..

    Hi all!

I am looking into buying a used BV 4-42 or BV 4-50 but I am not planing to put it on the wall.

Does those two TVs has the built in feature to control a motorized stand?

    /Peter

Beovision 4 is a plasma panel - not a TV, so doesn't have the features you would have on a Beovision TV (like stand adjustment).

You basically nail the screen to the wall (or use a panasonic table stand) and it is static unless you get some kind of third-party mounting bracket that is motorised. I don't know of one that can be controlled directly by the Beo4 remote

Why not a BeoVision 9? It has super center speaker, BeoSystem 3 and a motorstand.

    Thanks for the answers!

I was suspecting there were no connection for motorsized stand on BV4-42, Thanks for clearifying that.  Ive seen some table stands, but I guess they are motorized then.

@akoro: Yeah that would be a dream! :-) I am looking into buying a used BV4-42 or BV here, since a second hand BV4-42 can be found at a price around 1000 euros over here, BV 5 is about twice the price...a second hand BV9 is about 8-10 times as much. So unfortunatly that is way out of my reach ...but yes, its a wonderful set that has it all..
