You cannot connect Beolab 8000's to your Beomaster 5000 amp as it doesn't have powerlink outputs. Besides, the Penta's are better but this is just my opinionSmile

well they are great for me as well but beolab`s looks amazing

i`ve read that they are "lack of bass"

    is this true?

I've also heard that the early ones were a bit Bass light but this was apparently remedied on the 2nd & subsequent generation BL8000's. I agree the 8000's are stunningly beautiful speakers - still wouldn't make me swap them for Penta's if I had to live with them for ever though.

    maybe they are fake??

I guess that could be an asking price an for old pair with cosmetic problems - for example new frets aren't cheap (the regular black frets are about 200 euros a pair, I just asked). They might also have blown tweeters, or something...

I don't think there are fakes, but it could of course be a scam of some other kind, especially if the seller claims that they are newish and in excellent condition. Most people would have the sense to find out what a new pair costs!

But if they are local, perhaps you should just go and take a look (and make sure that they work).
