Re: Rare CD50 receiver & remotes
Bought one for 45. Never seen these before.
Thanks Chris. Does it still works with the Beomaster when the unit is placed?
B&O item 1, B&O item 2, B&O item 3,...................B&O item 735
Beovirus? What's that?

Re: Rare CD50 receiver & remotes
It should do but I can't be certain.
The idea behind these was to be able to use the CD50 with a non-B&O sytem & still have remote control options. I don't expect B&O ever thought someone would fit this to a CD50 & then connect it to a Beomaster, after all what would be the point?. I'm fairly sure the receiver won't interfere with commands from the Beomaster but it's a good question Leslie

Re: Rare CD50 receiver & remotes
Very tempting...
This kit is obviously very rare, could really use a remote for my CD50 used with the Beosystem 8000. I could just repair my Beomaster 5500 and use the MCP or Beolink 1000 as remote for it with the pre amp output to the Tape 2 input of the Beomaster 8000...
Beocenter 9300, Beogam CD50, Beocord 5500, Beomaster 3400, Beomaster 4400, 2 Beogram 4000, Beomaster 8000, 2 beogram 8002, Beovox S-75, Beovox MS150.2, Beovox RL6000, Beovox S-35, Beomaster 6000, 2 Beocord 9000, Beocord 8004, Beocord 5000, Form 1, 2x Beolink 1000, Beo4, MX3500, LS4500. Born 1993.

Re: Rare CD50 receiver & remotes
Just to tempt you even more, the cd50 remote kit has a couple of internal jumpers which you can move around and it can then control the basic functions (well, on and off and maybe volume) of your Beomaster 8000.

That is indeed tempting if it could be possible!
