Good news. Any information about a line change for current BV10? Will the BV10-32/40/46 get the same chassis?

Will the new BV 10-55 offer Masterlink or only the new Beonet?

    Re: BeoVision 10-55

Great to hear it will have a new chassis, sad to hear it's going to be Jan 2012 (and possibly later, knowing B&O). I was told the 55" would be late Summer, only a couple of months ago and was preparing to move up from a BV7-40 to the BV10-55.

I wonder if B&O realise most people buy a new TV from September through December, when nights start to get darker and there's more on the box!

    Re: BeoVision 10-55

    Brilliant news.

Witnessing what B&O has accomplished with the 7-55, spreading the 55" to the BV 10 range is a great move. Hope that the new BV10-55 chassis will allow to size up the integrated loudspeakers as well.

Any news as regard to backlight technology?
At 55", is edge lit still possible or will technology be the same as with BV 7-55 ?

All in all, I like how B&O is finally "attacking" more segments of the TV market.

Samsung already sell edgelit 55" panels (and did so at the time B&O released the BV7-55). There were either not available to B&O at the time or B&O chose to go with the locally backlit panel from Samsung's previous "9" series TV's (which got excellent reviews).

It will be interesting to see what is in the BV10-55 as I don't think Samsung continued development of the locally backlit panel (at least not in any of their later TV's).

Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.
