    Beocom 6000 strange behaviour

    Hi guys,

     

    I have a Beocom 6000 at my restaurant, I changed the battery for a new one some time ago, and now it's acting strange.

    So, when a call is incoming, it rings, but as I answer I can't hear anything.

    At the other end (caller) it beeps and plings like it was a fax machine at the other end, and they can't hear anything of me.

    Is it broken, or just some setting I have managed to mess up somehow?

    I have the same problem sometimes, a good shake will help(sometimes) My Beocom has also a very long ringtone then, very irritating. It is an older one so i expect it is something of an old age.....

    This is a good 10 years + too!

     

    The shake sounds great, but might not be a very good solution. Laughing

    Did you use the battery reset code after installing the new battery?
