    Beolab amp for a panel(3000/4500/5000)

    Hi all, just about to refurb a pair of bl5000's and as i remember, i think one of the small pcb's is duff, my question anyone got any spare boards or a single amp to canibalise?

    I start trying to id the problematic board later today / tomorrow so should have more info later

    OK now id'd my problem board 3 the microprocessor board pt no  8001032 has a problem somewhere in it/on it.

    It will boot up, the display showing source info etc but no volume, just the normal 2 dashes as if muted(the relay on the amp board also does not trigger - are these related

    Another problem the unrepaired display will light up ie backlight but no source info, so need one of these also(I think)- orange display

    Anyone out there please contact either by pm or thro'here!

    Got a pair, anyone interested in a pair of Vox 3000's with blue frets, could also be with the lab boxes, just for show unfortunately  pm me

    Hi Tony

    I did a repair to one of those amplifiers a few years ago. The display was just lit but no text on it. The cause of this was on the small PCB (3x3 cm) at the input connector. The soldering of the data pin was bad so the cpu didnt know what to display.
