    beocom 5 lost connection

    After 3 software upgrades I still have troubles with the beocom 5.

    Sometimes the telephone lost connection with the basestation.

    Is this a well known problem?!

    The software version in the telefoon and base is 2.10

    Hmm. I've just bought a couple of Beocom 5's, yesterday, for the office.

    Moved across from an old fixd line Beocom to a BT digital cordless phone and, frankly, the audio quality was terrible. I'm hoping these Beocom 5's a far better.

    At £1000 for two phones, they darn well better be!

    How far is the BeoCom 5 from the base when it happens? Does it always happen at the same place in your home?

    If the range of your beoline is too limited, order a DECT repeater.

    How far is the BeoCom 5 from the base when it happens? Does it always happen at the same place in your home?

    Do you have more phones than the BeoCom 5 connected to your BeoLine? It could also be the BeoLine that looses connection.

    Only a flat line.

    When I push the button again it says *no base connection*

    Did you install the base next to a router? Those can interfere.

    first a thought that it was my internet/phone provider.

    I changed to another provider but still the same problem.

    In every software update B&O mention that they fixed the issue *base lost connection*

    Can anyone tell me what they have been solved in Sw version 2.20

    But beside your provider, do you use a router with wireless acces.

    I bought 2 routers. linksys and a netgear

    Now i have a modem from telfort.

    I don't now it anymoreSad

    I think I will give fred a call and asked my good old bc 6000 BackWink

    Maybe try to swap the BeoLine? If the connection is lost, it could also be caused by the BeoLine!

    interesting, I have mine for a month now and had exactly the same problem today, 2 metres away from the unit away and router 10 metres away. How do I check the software version?

    and which version should it be?

    I have HANDSET and BASE Version 2.00. Any issues with these?
