    Beolab 6000 Bass Drivers x4

Unfortunately the centres of the bass drivers have been pushed in which doesn't seem to affect the sound at all but I'd like to get them sorted. A long shot perhaps but does anybody have any of these going spare?

    Thanks, Jon

    Hi Tony,

Ideally I'm looking for replacement drivers. I think replacing the dust covers will be a little beyond my technical ability!

    Regards, Jon

If it's just the dustcaps being pushed in you could try putting the brush on your vacuum cleaner and with increasing suction trying to get the dustcap to pop back in its original shape! Usually works very well, seems a bit overkill to replace the drivers just for this Smile

Agree with Prem....  that would have been my suggestion , tied in with GENTLE lifting using a fine sewing needle - used this technique with penta dust covers very successfully

Gice it a go - nothing to lose!!

I did try with a vacuum cleaner alone to no avail, and with a bit of double sided tape which just seemed to pull the fibres from the dust cover.

So are you suggesting I make a tiny perforation in the dust cover with a sewing needle and pull out?

yes, near centre with the point to the edge then gently lever/ease up - sort of nothing to lose, lots to gain!
